I've been meaning to buy Ulrich's "A Strangely Isolated Place" before my camping trip (tomorrow), but I'm told it's not released in the states yet. Can anyone recommend a similar artist whose CD I can buy for a nature trip? Something similar to the title track on Strangely Isolated, or to the beginning of Northern Exposure I: North.
More instruments than just piano (like Eno and Budd) would be nice, as would music without hard beats. Just something flowing, beautiful, majestic, etc. |

I recall you had given me a link to a place where I could buy it online. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to do so. Borders, Barnes and Noble, and the few other places I have called said they won't have it til Sept. 7th (the same date Amazon.com gives for its release).
Since I can only buy in person for my trip tomorrow, any ideas?
Thanks. |

Peter Benisch - Soundtrack Saga
Global Communication - 76:14
Both should be available locally... 76:14 is more ambient than Ulrich Schnauss but less so than Eno, etc. |
