Yes, that's right, anyone who disagrees with you must be 'trash'. then again, I wouldn't have expected much more from someone with a 'Kerry for president of France' graphic in their avatar -- if that isn't ignorance and stupidity I don't know what is. |

| If a ton of people hated Bush, why did he get elected in 2000?. I think that a majority of people dislike Bush in some way but they feel he is better than Kerry, so he might win another term in office. I find that most people dislike the person who runs the country but since the rest of the people that you vote for are worse, you vote for the guy again. I voted for Paul Martin in the recent election because he was better than the other 4 party leaders. In Canada, we are used to bad prime ministers, mulroney and chretien (more near the end of jean's term) are prime examples. There is still a lot of people who could change their minds and votes till the US election in 2004. I say the vote is too close to call, I'd like to see anyone but Bush in power because I felt he has hurt Canada with the lame softwood lumber dispute, the wheat dispute, closing the border to alberta beef and we've been right imo but I don't trust Kerry either and my country has to deal with whoever is president. The American people will have their say on who the next president is and right now I think it's too close to call. A lot can happen in a few months. |

Wow...nice statistics......
Where did you dig those from.....something called a personal "opinion"?
Fact of the matter is Texas is hardcore Bush state and he will win this state by a landslide. |

Its called a personal opinion turned into a political message.
Politics is dirty.
As far as the gays....They as an entire group are in the DEM. constituency.....regardless of the smaller few that will vote GOP.
Labeling Americans as gay/stupid is in a totally different league of its own.
Like me ....Thank you
Dont......I really could care less. |

Nice to have you very active in here Andy.
Honored by your prescence and your love for Michael Moore:tongue2 (sarcasm) |

See I'm fed up with people generalizing and people just pushing their hate agendas in here. That's all this forum becomes at times, people yelling at others for having different view points. Most people in here think Bush had an easy job (I state that I've never agreed with most of what he has done) but running a country is never easy. It is easy to sit here and say I could have done better but you were not voted in by the American Public, so as far as I'm concerned, most people can STFU about they could have done better.
As far as what I think about Michael Moore, most people view him as a voice of reason or a complete idiot. It seems that Bush hating and American hating is in vogue now and that it's cool to hate the USA. I'd say that 50% of Americans have doubts that they were completely right with their foreign policy. Moore was great at the start, he had some decent points but then his rants took over and his hypocracy started to show, i mean how can he talk about fat americans, he is fat, he lambasted small businesses as rednecks that ruin the towns, when he claims to be pro business, he claims to be pro american but outsourced his website to Canada. See in my view, either you talk the talk or you don't, there is no in between, there is no MAYBE in my book, it's yes or no. The problem with this board is most of you are anti american, anti bush or sorta anti something and all that shows is the rampant hate. It's brutally pathetic, yes some will point out, I'm half American because my mother is American but I've lived all my life in Canada. I find it's easier for some to just criticize and lash out (heck I did it for yrs and now i realize how pointless it all is). It's so easy to paint something with a broad stroke or to generalize. |

You are right...this forum is a bash and hack/slash frenzy.
I love it though because Im in the small minority and it makes me laugh when i read all the anti bush comments.
I go to a forum like stangnet and flaming Kerry is a daily routine and i go there to escape this nonsense

People rather flame politicians rather than actually try to do something about it. That's the sad part with most of this forum, you are all talk yet you don't do crap to attempt to change it. The hate is beyond control and it is the same names but what it shows is why certain situations are on going.
Cyrus King, Zing, Malek, Taha and others are all so one sided with the Isreal-Palestine conflict and it shows by their actions, how far the hate is and why the conflict is not resolved. It's sad when most people rather just hammer away, I think that some people hate the other side so much, they don't care about the loss of life on that side. It's pathetic, no more peace can't be achieved, it shows through their attitudes and I see why the violence continues. |
