yup.. youve read it right, last year Interplay had to lay off a bunch of people and close Black Isle studios, thus cancelling all the project they were working on, wich was non other then a sequel to one of the greatest RPGs of all time!! :whip:
all the facts here
But thankfully, they announced just recently that they signed an agreement with Bethesda, the creators of Morrowind, to take on the challenge of developping the game...

It's about damn time I say, with the first 2 games being such hits, I just wonder why they waited so long before continuing the series.. The profit is garanteed, I bet people will just jump on the title as soon as it comes out.. Just hope it will be good, never been disappointed by Interplay's products so far.. but this one was just on top of it all, it simply owned the way no other RPG did. |

| I hate Interplay for closing Black Isle. How can you close a developer who's every single game they have created have been acclaimed hits? They have single handedly ruined the dungeon's and dragons and fallout series. |

my only beef with this is that it is being ported to console...
nothing wrong with consoles (i do much of my gaming on consoles) however, in order for them to port it they're gonna have to change how the game works, so chances are it's gonna be more of an action rpg...
i think the graphics engine needs an uphaul, but leave the combat system alone, it's cool
but i guess beggers can't be choosers... unfortunately |
