forget about Thorpe vs Phelps .. what about that 4X100 relay ... what a surprise South Africa!! that was a spectacular win by them!! i was shocked how they won, especially that first 2 lap by that guy! he just burst! |

phelps is an medley and butterfly swimmer, so him winning the 200m free probably isnt important to him considering he just broke the 400IM world record which he owned and the Olympic record by 3 seconds and won the final by quite a few body lengths... |

He's going to win at least six gold. I'm hoping he gets seven and ties the record, but eight isn't likely to happen.
