| People like to say William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (DJ Tiesto Remix) when it's just Tiesto - Adagio for Strings, since Barber's Adagio for Strings wasn't originally by William Orbit, it was a piece by Samuel Barber, as the song title says. Tiesto remade Barber's Adagio and released it without mentioning William Orbit since he doesn't own a copyright for Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings. I don't think Tiesto has to say Barber's Adagio instead of just Adagio too since I believe the piece already passed into the public domain (correct me if I'm wrong). |
