As many of you know I have been supporting this tune on this forum over the last week. However, as many of you have correctly stated the vocal version is ridicliously cheesey!
I was about to throw this record into the fire UNTIL I heard Tiesto was playing the dub version of the track. Yes, Tiesto! So I flip my record over to side B, which has the Robert Nickson ( yes, same person who did the remix for Endre) Dub version of Passion. And wow was I gladly surprised to see what I found. Same awesome melody but ZERO cheese!
If you doubt my opinion on the tune look no further than Tiesto beucase he is all bangin it as well. Have a feeling he might play this in his in concert set!
The records needs to be pitched up +6% so its playing at 145-146 bpm. Good track 8/10.
If someone could listen to the Robert Nickson dub version @ the correct pitch I would love to hear your opinions as well. |

To be honest w/ you all I was never a Dub type person. I was kinda stuck w/ those cheesy vocals. But I heard tiesto play the song in his set and i was like "sh!t, thats my song but sounds way better." I realized he didnt play the vocals and I than thought ..hmmmm.. I should try that out.I than listened to side B again I was like.... nice.
It was cool to see tiesto found interest in the same track. It was that he ,unlike me, didnt go for the cheese side a version :D |
