Damn, now Release has left Ten15 in San Francisco...

Whelp, now both of the major EDM promoters in San Francisco have dumped Ten15 over the past couple of months.

This leaves the club with the best lighting system (world renound), the only club in the area with a Kryo system, etc, w/o any major promoter to bring in talent. They've been booking acts itself on Friday nights since Spundae left and my guess is they'll start doing Saturday nights, too.

Anyhow, hopefully this will get Ten15 to finally straighten the up and spice itself up and make it more appealing to bring in bigger crowds on every night instead of just on big nights.

Here is Release's official statement. Note Release (aka Martel and Nabiel) also does Friday nights at Ruby Skye in San Francisco, although they will let other promoters come in time to time for special events (like Spundae doing Armin van Buuren on Sep 17)...anyhow, here's the statement...

As some of you may have already heard, Release will no longer be promoting our events at 1015 Folsom. There are a number of factors regarding lack of appreciation and trust that are contributing to this decision and need not be detailed here. Suffice it to say that after over 10 years it is time for a change. At Release we pride ourselves on bringing the best talent and creating the best events, and we will continue to do so regardless of venue. This is not the end of Release, only the beginning. Stay tuned for more details to follow.
