Hey Shamez214 since you have a Dreamcast and like shooters, there have been some new Japanese ones that have come out in recent months. The Dreamcast is still going strong in this department. Check these out:
Border Down
PsyVariar 2
Castle of Shikigami 2
Also an oldie but one of the best shooters on the Dreamcast if you haven't checked out is Zero Gunner 2 |

He is... Vert/Side-scrolling shoot 'em ups. Shooters. If he was talking about platformers, he'd have said "What's your favourite platformer?"
FPS games ARE 'shooters' aswell, but from a different perspective to vertical or horizontal scrolling. They also work in three dimensions instead of two. |

Heh... exactly. Mario is a platformer. Gradius is a side-scorlling shoot-em-up. Raiden Trad is a vertical shoot-em-up. Shoot-em-up sounds silly, so I said shooter. |
