Dying out Function?

Hey guys, I need some quick advice

Say you have a pad synth that kicks in, say you only want it to last 16 beats and then slowly die back down to 0 volume. Is there a function or a way to do this without doing it manually and recording? A way that the sound will die out automatically after a specific length of time? Hopefully it can be done with synths and pads, thanks! I'm using Buzz by the way.

I'm thinking it has to do with the Attack and Release and that type of stuff but I haven't touched this production for a few months.

I think u are asking alot.. why not use a Wave editor?

I think wnat u are asking is how to set ur synth to make ur pad die out... I have no idea actually :nervous:

Are you talking about shorter release times? Then just shorten the release...:)

There is a buxx machine made for that purpose. I ran across it before but I don't have the name of it, you can find it at buzzmanual.com in the part that lists all the machines, you might find other fun machines to try on the way as well.
