just listened to it now matey and i really enjoyed it. overall
mixing 7/10 - altogether your mixing was very good, although i did feel that the mix between track 3 and 4 was quite rushed. i always seem to have a problem with this as well as twister is such a baning track, its can prove difficult to bringing it in perfectly. there was also a mix later on which wasnt 100% perfect, but all very promising
tune selection 7/10 - altogether your tune selection was great. love tracks 3, 4, and 9 especially, but i do think that u used the wrong mix of holding on to nothing. also i was not really keen on Kompressor - Back as it samples renigade master, which shouldnt really be in a trance set in my opinion. but apart from that it was great. was really shocked to hear the melody from armin blue fear in Nicholas Bennison - Airjack. quality track.
Alround flow 6.5/10 - i think that the flow of the was ok, but you went from twister to airjact in just one mix, and i felt that it really dropped the pace from your mix. also i like to build my set up to a climax at the end, and i didn't really feel like it was built up towards the end.
Altogher i really enjoyed your mix mate, and would love to hear more stuff from yourself. hope that these comments have helped, as i have just picked out elements of your set that i feel could be improved. anyway take it easy matey. speak to u soon. ian |
