I've been looking to buy decks for a while now... and i've seen the Mrk III and Mrk II...... The III's are more expensive, but the only advantage they have over the standard MRk II's are that they have a reset button...
Is it worth buying the new 12's or is it just a convineince thing??? |

I've got mkII's and I've never really had a problem with the pitch lock. |

the reset button is not necessary... mk2 stays the best. |

the difference is about $50 dollars.......have had no problems with mine and i dont plan on upgrading anytime in the future....afterall the motor issides the exact same
and i have no use for the headshell weight, because i use Ortofon Concorde DJs...
pitch reset's not much of a "feature" to me either.....and no real need for the headshell holder |

They were worth the extra cash in my opinion. :D
If you have the money, just get the MKIII's. :) |
