Back in the day, when I was eleven or twelve or so, I had this tape with some really nice oldschool techno and house on it. It was a storebought tape, probably bought somewhere abroad (not Sweden) 'cause techno and house wasn't that big in those days, around 1991-92. Anyway, one of the housetracks featured a woman singing about something like "people looking for gold" or "the promised land" or something like that... I can hardly remember anything else, but I remember that it really got goin' in the chorus . Due to my lack of information I don't believe that anyone will spot this one, but I'd just as well put it out here anyways...
By the way, my favorite track back then was Waxattack's "Show Me Your Ye' Ye' Yeah"... |
