Draft 2 Design aka Outback hits the charts this week. Most of you know I am a HUGE fan of Outback’s and this release is just amazing. Their production is 1st class and this record just proves their consistency.

DJ Ernesto : Stop 9.5 (Phynn & Dynamic Sense Remixes)
I was a little skeptical about this record but with a Phynn and Dynamic Sense Remix I knew I had to take a listen. Both mixes are in your face and driving. The original(not included on the vinyl) is a fairly poor mix with that cat sound synth but the Phynn mix cleans it up and makes it less annoying plus Phynn minimized the vocal. The Dynamic Sense mix uses cuts of the vocal but puts their dark edge on it. Either way the mixes would cause a frenzy. But if I had to choose it would be the Phynn mix out of pure energy.

I was not able to listen to the sonic vibe mix for some reason, however, the Original is a vocal trancer that seems to have some good hooks. I am a big Sonic Vibe fan so I placed the order J When it comes on wed. I’ll def. Let you knows kno whats up.
ECLECTIC KID vs FRED BACKER - Now Or Never
Oh my! M.I.K.E. vs Frederic De Backer. One of the cooler techno tracks I’ve heard all year. The original mix has a great synth line that has got M.I.K.E. written all over it. The flip side is the Fred Backer mix and it is just the craziest rolling basslines! You techno heads will LOVE this. |
