removing parts of tracks

| is there a program you can download that can allow you to trim time off of tracks that you dont want? Some songs i have have like a 2 minuet "slowdown" period before the track ends. I would like to shorten that up. |

| nice. thanks. I edited the mp3 but i cant seem to figure out how to save it as an mp3 file. It wants me to save it as something else. |

Yep, it's very easy to do itw ith Nero.
Just use "Nero Wave Editor" or whatever its called, the program that comes bundled with Nero. |

| ok i figured out how to edit the track like i want. And i figured out how to save it. Is there a way to take like a 10 second cut from another song and join it with another song? Thanks. |

well there is HJsplit, which lets you joing fragments, but those fragments have to be in some weird ass format so I don't think you can just do as you please with it, but I might be wrong |

You just need to rename the *.mp3 to whatever format HjSplit uses. At least I think so, it's been ages since I last tried it so I'm not 100% sure. |
