Hello.

Someone told me about this place... Some interesting things happenin' around here. Here's my latest chart and Proton Radio set for dowload...

Lance Cashion :: Chart :: 8/5/04
(Slow Motion Music/Proton Radio/CP Recordings/Balance Record Pool)

1. Seafoam/You Pump It/Lo-Rise Recordings
-This is a funky tech-house opener. Will get people's heads bobbin'
2. Dousk/The Novel/Bedrock
-One of my favorite Bedrock releases this year. Deep groovy progressive...
3. Everything But The Girl/ClubLand Lullaby (Royal Sapien rmx)/CD-R
-Watch out for this kid! Great break-beat warm up track... Does EBTG justice
4. Alex Millan/Maria Rosa/Hypnotic Music
-Bumpin deep, heady tech-house... It will make your brain start to fry.
5. Martin Accorsi & Tim Skinner/Vivid & Visual/Bedrock
-Got an early listen to this... Sounds better on vinyl. Deep prog on the techy side I guess...
6. Bellone/Rosaline in Love/Mantra Vibes
-A solid tech-funk track that bounces around the room. Good for anytime in the night.
7. Rob Curtis/Twilight/Existance Recordings
-Rob brings on a moody deep progressive piece here. Look out for anything this kid touches
8. Quivver & Sutton/Coldrush/Electric Music People
-This record kicks. Dancefloor music here! Proper Progressive
9. Sven Palzer/Every Single Beat/Electribe
-Ummm, Something about this funky tech-house track makes your ass shake.
10. UN: Plug/Time Unlimited (Ortus Breaks Mix)/EQ Grey
-Great opening track... early in the evening. Breaks on the house tip (sort of)

* Pole Folder feat Sandra Ferretti/Protected (Fretwell Remix)/Modo
-Awesome breaks you've come to expect from Fretwell-Had to mention this one

Thanks to the artists and labes putting out great music.

Small world. You used to live in Central FL. I haven't come across too many people on TA that can say they remember the Firestone days. Wow. Firestone, Simons, Thee Fantasy Ranch, etc. Those were the days. There are some good clubs around currently, but nothing can touch the energy that was in the club scene back then. The scene was insane. Icon is still around, but it just can't compare. Even HOB is different.

Anyways...welcome to TA ;)

hi lance
welcome :)

welcome to ta :)

if you want better feedback on your mixes, try out the amateur dj section that's not too far down the list of forums, the dj's and producers on this site are pretty much top notch anyway, so ignore the 'amateur' bit and you'll probably find more people who like your mixes and maybe find people who's mixes you enjoy also :)

Trancebrat, I spent many nights at Firestone and the Edge. Those were great times. I had the opertunity to play Firestone with Scott Dixon (Voyager) once. It was a dream come true. I was a monthly resident at Icon in 1997... I was a Rollins kid. A bunch of my friends worked at Underground Record Source. I worked at Deuce for about a year. Ahhhh, the memories... Orlando is where I fell in love with EDM especially progressive.

Ian, thanks for the pointer. I did not see that section... :)

thanks

The Edge! :D So many good clubs and good parties to go to back then. I guess it's a good thing that it all died down. I needed a break. :p
