Swimming is quite possibly one of the most difficult sports to excel at, it takes just about every physical attribute you can think of and you need to consistently train around 10-12 times per week. I used to be a top swimmer, have been out of it for around 2 years now and am thinking of getting back into it, but realistically I doubt I would be able to get back to the level in time for Beijing.
I reckon Shot-put might be an easy one, just build up the muscle in one arm and shoulder and you're done. |

instead of an olympic sport, why don't you take up Mixed Martial Arts..... enter UFC, Pride, K-1 fighting tournaments.

| If you enjoyed martial arts then I recommend Sambo, although it's difficult to find a good place to train. |

| I used to play for school teams and teams out of school in sports such as Football, Badmington, Swimming, Athletics including long distance running, Squash, Tennis and Cricket. And as a hobby Golf. Then I got a job, and now I don't play any sports :( It's a part of my life I miss so so much, and is just one more reason why I need to win the lottery so I can make more time for these activities. |
