Best Program To Make MIDI Files??

Can someone help me out, ive tried a few but my mp3s sounded in the midi format, sounded really messed up. Can some1 tell me a really good program to convert music to midi format?

| naw im kidding. i love amiga/mod <-- isn't that what it's called? I had some sweet ass amiga/mod tracks on my old macintosh a long time ago. I'd like to dig those up. Anyway. balls |

1) Get a MIDI-editor
2) Program the notes yourself |
