| If you are considering a platonic relationship with her, you might wanna see her again. If you think it would be too tough on you to be around her (feelings haven't gone away, etc.), then I wouldn't. It may have taken her a while to get back with you, because it was awkward and she wanted to make sure that the feelings had settled down. |

You're probably right. From my experience, most women (especially in their 20's and younger) haven't a clue what they want. Then they think they know what they want, but, again, go back to not knowing what they want. It's a confusing cycle and the guessing game is impossible. |

that's sad and pathetic, being something your not. you get nothing out of it, and you spend time adn money for no personal gain that will only make you feel ter in the long run. also, she'll be able to recognise the 'show' that you are putting on for her is a fake anyway.
start doing great in a natural way, chances are you'll probably forget about her in due time. as hard as it may be.. keepign away from the other person for a lengthy period of time while keeping distracted is the best formula. |

I agree completely. The ferrari may be the worst advice I've ever heard. Hey, put up a big front, using your money, and it'll get you... Nothing. Even if it made her jealous, that would benefit you how? Either stay away from her, or hang out with her without any expectations than friendship or an easy lay. |

Nell, great advice there. Moving on is a great thing but some peeps just have a hard time letting go. (Could it be this way for stk's ex?)
The longer you've moved on, the more changes will occur. Sometimes we allow ourselves to be trapped in that vortex of "warped perceptions" (which happens over time...ie. for the better or worse in terms of physical or mental growth). Only till the "defunct" couple meet up then will they realize these changes.
"Mind games" could be in your mind only stk. Perhaps, she really wants you as a friend or maybe even more. It is then up to you to decide whether to walk the road you've travelled before or head out to a new avenue.
It's hard to boil down one's motives in this situation. If you no longer feel for her, then you are definately at an advantage here. Close up the chapter and leave things as they are....no point in looking back unless you yourself desire some sort of rekindling of the old flame.

Mind games are tricky.. maybe she has emotionally matured and wants to communicate with you about things she wasn't able to prior - OR - it's just a front and not worth your time.
Either way, things would be so much easier if people just learned to communicate with each other when they had an issue, rather than hiding/running away from it hoping it will fix magically and/or go away on its own - which, never happens. |
