The Italians are hopeless at football, and this proves it.
For years we've had to endure the most boring national league and national team in the world, all they do is back passes and after back passes.

I dont know much about some sports like gridiron and baseball so i refrain from talking about them. You, you ignorant piece of , son of a dirty whore should also do the same.
Only brazil's won more world cups than italy, but theyre hopeless?? hmm, the only thing hopeless was ur mother in bed last nite...that slut is loose as a goose!!!!! |

you are reletively new to this forum but we do not tolerate insults like that.
this is a freedom of speech forum (within reason) and u have every right to express your opinion, but we do not allow insults like that, or do that magitude. really, what does someones footballing opinion have to do with their mother?

back on subject, the italians years ago were a footballing powerhouse, but their performance in euro 2004 was dire, u cant denie that. far too many handbags and egos, and the team was generally poor on the field.
as for the world cup 2002, they wernt much good then either, tho they were conned by the korean's, as were spain. so imo in recent years theyve gone downhill alot, and are pretty poor at the moment. tho i think with the right manager, it could be turned around into the team they once were. its not like their players dont have the ability. |

Look flaming doesn't worry me and given that you had taken an interest in this thread I thought I'd tame down my intended reply, and I don't think he stooped too low to start waving the stick around in the first place anyway.
An essential part of football is supporters riling each other up, and being from England I would have thought you'd understand this. |

3 world cups, what has your country won??
Useless, in a friendly game, how can you judge them.
Italy were complacent in euro's, but in all honesty they were cheated in the world cup.
In 2000 they were beaten in the last minute of a game they dominated (against world cahmpions).
Italy's shortcomings of the last few years have been largely down to there strike force and manager - they still have without doubt the best goalkeeper, defence and midfield in europe. |

The world cups Italy won were rigged for starters, they choked in the 2002 world cup and apart from beating Wales, and I mean Wales!, they haven't had a decent result for years.
When all the Italians finally stop blaming Trap and conspiracy stories and the players spend more time practising and less time in the beauty salon, then they might stand a chance.
Until then they are the whipping boys of world football and the laughing stock of Europe. |

Btw you still never answered my question, what team do you support and what have they ever acheived in the grand scheme of things.
Italy remain one of the best teams in the world who are going thru a bad patch(as all teams do), which is largely down to mis-management. they have one of the best leagues in the world and some of the most successful club teams.
You haven't made one constructive point about italy's shortcomings, just that you think they are all good looking men (which I find a bit odd).
Please give up on trying to talk about football when you clearly don't know what your on about. |

I'm Australian and German .
Although Australia is crap, I think that Italy's record is inferior to Germany's if you count finals appearances.
Buffon is okay at the back but their defence is not that red hot at all, and their midfield is over-rated in the extreme. They always choke when it matters, and in the recent Euro they were total rubbish.
Provide some stronger evidence because you are talking out of your arse. |
