Akira Yamaoka - Room of Angel [Carl B Remix]
128 - [download] [stream]

Another tune from me. This is a remix of Akira Yamaoka's amazing tune Room of Angel from the game Silent Hill 4: the Room.
Feel free to do whatever you want with this one, spin it, play at parties, whatever you want. But please, spread it as much as you can!
LYRICS
You lie silent there before me
Your tears mean nothing to me now
The wind owling at the window
The Love you never gave
I give to you
Really don't deserve it
But now there's nothing you can do
So sleep in your only memory of me
My dearest mother
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes goodbye
It was alwyas you that I despised
I don't feel enough for you to cry oh well
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes goodbye
Goodbye . . .
Goodbye . . .
So insignificant sleeping dormant deep inside of me
Are you hiding away lost
Under the sewers Maybe flying high in the clouds
Perhaps you're happy without me
So many seeds have been sown in the field
And who could sprout up so blessedly. If I had died
I would have never felt sad at all
You will not hear me say I'm sorry
Where is the light I wonder if it's weeping somewhere
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes goodbye
It was alwyas you that I despised
I don't feel enough for you to cry oh well
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes goodbye
Goodbye . . .
Goodbye . . .
Vocals by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Remix and additional production by Carl B.
Enjoy!
Regards, Carl B

right. just listened to the track and it is really really sweet and thats a bit weird for me. i have honestly really really gone of vocals at the minute and they have to be really special to grab my attention. i think that the lyrics on this track are amasing. really sexy and molodic, which is how i like it.
the overall production of the track is superb again. how do u do it. sounds really clean and fresh. nice one. really is top quality producing.
dont think that this tune is quite as good as all day, but still with be in my top 10. that means that you now have two tunes in there. well done matey, and keep up the good work. ian :) |

sounds great, gorgeous vocals.
everything sounds very clear as well, much better than All Day where things were a bit all over the place.
my only complaint is that the track never reaches a peak. there are two breakdowns but after each one of them, it's just back to the refrain and nothing else really happens..
good stuff overall. |

Okay all in all a very good produced song!
But here some things:
Too much high freqs (above 3k)
The Vocals are too quiet
The Piano is too "boring".
Bassline and Drums are good.
Try to fix this and the song will be great! |

| To much high freqs! Good melody, but no energy in the track! Your "All Day" much better... |

| I agree with the others about the high frequencies. I also think the kick is a tad too dominant in the mix. Other than that this was very well produced. I really liked the vocals and the arrangement of the remix. Great effort:) |
