Any links to previous threads would be really helpful so I can delete this one if a good one arises.

So what do you need to rip a vinyl to CD.

Do you need spherical or eliptical needles?
Which program is needed?
Is there a particular turntable required to do it?

Doesn't matter the needles.
A good program to use is total recorder.
Any turntable will work as long as it has RCA outputs. If you're computer has RCA inputs on the soundcard it will be really easy. If not, buy the RCA to 1/8" converter to plug into the line in of your soundcard.

Start totalrecorder and start recording the line-in of your soundcard. Put the record on. Record it, burn it on CD. Very easy.
