Your favorite piece of gear

Just curious - what is the only one piece of gear in your setup that you absolutely love.
My favorite one at the moment is Yamaha AN1X, even though I got 10 other synths that are more powerful/versatile. AN1X just hits the spot. I dunno why, can't explain it but it just does.
BTW, you don't have to list something that you already have - it could be your "wish" gear too :) |

I think at the moment i have to say its my Electrix EQ Killer. I had this thing for a long time but i never hooked it up because when I first bought it I tried it with my turntables and it sucked(I had it hooked up wrong) I just stumbled on it about a week ago and its like the best eq i could have wished for...it also gives you the ability to do some serious filter sweeps as well. Who new that one of the most cheapest peices of gear could have been my favs. I mean the thing only cost me like $50 lol. I'm also really into my Waldorf Microwave XT right now. I love all my gear! Wishlist includes a moogerfooger and a Lexicon MPX500.

Actually, my Supernova II.
But the better synth I've already had was the "MKS-80 Super Jupiter"
(Jupiter 8 with MIDI).
Wishlist includes the amazing Virus C and some standalone hardware filter like Mutronics. |

c'mon - computer? man... that's like no imagination ;)
Computer is quite versatile, I agree, besides - I don't believe you can play your VSTi while watching pr0n on your drum machine or FX unit, but still - use some imagination. If it wasn't a computer - what would it be?
