If you were looking at Making a Complilation CD for sale to the public, How would you go about finding out who owns the rights to a song, and how much it would cost you to include that song on your album?

| Contact the label. Well actually, you contact the owner of the track, the person that has the rights to it, and 99% of the time it will be the label. |
