Sadly its ginos that helped make the dance scene in Toronto.
Commercial dance was always a bit of a gateway into the more "serious" stuff. Its only in the last few years that ginos have been primarily into hip hop. |

| It's funny how you guys are complaining about having to listen to "mainstream" music...here in Windsor the closest we get to any type of electronic music is one or two mixes from detroit clubs late on a fri or sat night...You should consider youselves luckY!!! |

as long as people start educating themselves about the genres within electronica as opposed to every edm song being labeled EURO/TECHNO..
other than that, I' usually tune in to the station when my ipod or cds or powerbook are unavailable ;p |

Most annoying thing is that every kind of cheese being churned out by z103 is labelled as 'trance'. So thus the civic riding ginos think they are hardcore into trance. E.g. this conversation I had with this 'bro' at an import show:
Him: Yea bro..I am hardcore into trance, I have around 10 gigs of pure trance man.
Me: Sweet man, maybe I might get some tunes off ya then.
Him: No probs bro. You name it i have it. Alice Deejay, Groove Coverage, Stevie B, Joey everything bro.
