Ok... basically, everything was fine until one time i booted up my computer, and it sounded like there is some sort of delay/echo on EVERY sound within windows... From winamp to clicks and beeps to flstudio... so i am wondering, is this a hardware or software problem and has anyone also had this happen before and found some way to get rid of it??
my computer uses a creative sound card connected to a pair of sennheiser headphones...
Please help me as this is not only annoying for normal usage of windows, but also for producing as well |

| you probably have the EAX effects turned on in your creative card's controll panel |

I think something like that happend to my friend. Was a while ago though and i don't remember if i fixed it or not. Try updating your sound card drivers. I think your card might be crapped though.
Just my thoughts though, could be wrong. |

i tried to find the "control panel" for the soundcard but couldn't find it. also tried reinstalling drivers but didn't work... however then i tried unplugging the soundcard.. uninstalling it.. and then reinstalling it and it seemed to reset all the settings...
so everything is finally back to normal which i'm glad :) |
