I am right next to the girls arm on the right. Must have stepped down for a while when that was taken. That was towards the end of the show. |

Jerry has never let me down. I've seen him open for PvD two other times in Dallas. Him and I have similar taste in tracks...he just seems to get the newer stuff way before I do lol. I've seen Lance plat at the Tiesto show in San Antonio..definitely played some good tunes both times. Got to meet him shortly after his set and was one of the few I successfully got a CD to. Would have more but my burner is a piece of that like to make more coasters than working CDs... that's about to get remedied real soon :whip:
but on the real, both of them are competent DJs and being a die-hard progressive fanatic I dont hand such compliements out lightly ;) |

| wish we had been there... we waited a long time to see Paul Van Dyk in Austin, sigh... work postponed our trip home until October. Sorry we missed you Lance. Maybe we can make it down for Ferry :) (or maybe you'll make it out to SF sometime ;) ) |

Right around 2:50. He finished up around 2:45, the promoter thanked everyone for coming, then Paul dropped on one last song.
The dance floor got very (over) crowded around 12:30 AM, but had thinned out enough by 1:40 AM that I got back on. I kept thinking...he's gotta finish at 2 AM...he's gotta finish by 2:30...OHMYGOD, when will he finish???
Awesome show. I thought the crowd was great, really into the music & the experience. The dance floor got a little too crowded, but the club has a good enough system that the music quality held up off the dance floor.
My feet were killing me, & I was in pain the next day at work, but it was worth it to stay to the end. |
