Just bought a New PC Case !

Im currently building a new PC, Ive been looking for a quiet case as PC Noise just really pisses me off, ive decided to purchase the Antec Sontata this case got 9/10 from most reviews, and looks the dawgs. here is the Review

I got one, tho I wish I had gotten the Antec SLK3700BQE, cheaper and better.
There are some mods you will need to do to the sonata to make it really quiet.
The plastic front bezel needs to be removed and a fair bit cut off.
This will greatly improve airflow.
Cover up the drilled holes in the side that spell antec, these let noise escape.
the front intake fan is mounted behind the drive cage, and such doesnt draw air in as well as it could. I made a duct for mine.
get a 3.5" fan controller (vantec nexus is great) so you have complete control of the noise. |
