I can't believe some of these athletes...
First there is that effeminate Paul Hamm...is it a given that males in Gymnastics have pseudo-homosexual voices LOL!
Anyway, it turns out the South Korean actually won the gold but b/c the Koreans forgot to notice it in time it goes to Hamm. Now the fruitcake wont give it up. He says ",I made efforts to get it. I'm not planning to give away the medal". Oh really tinkerbell? What about the other athlete? I'm sure he started practicing just last year. If Hamm was a true sport he would give it back. He would earn far more accolades...maybe even redeem some of the image lost by Americans. The same thing happened in the last Olympics when AGAIN a south korean team was denied the gold due to some error in scoring. Stupid fruitcake...I look down on the sore loser
Second has to do w/ Russia's Natalya Sadova. She won the gold in the shot put. Lo and behold (as if one couldnt tell from his she-male's body) Natalya has been doping. Now the idiot wont give back the gold. She PHYSICALLY wont do it. Well w/ her heavy frame that might be hard to do..
Finally, during the 100M hurdle the favorite to win, Perdita Felecien , stumbled on the FIRST HURDLE and fell down. Yet the clumsy gorilla-face took down Irina Shevchenko with her. How is this fair to Irina? They should have re-run the race (w/ Predita out of it). This is what the babboon-lips had to say "...All I can say is I'm sorry. I'd be upset if it happened to me, but that's sport/"
That's sport??? Whats up with some of these stupid athletes? They think they're the only ones that have trained. This loser brushes it off...what about the hopes and dreams of the other racer you took down. The next Olympics is FOUR years away... |

The first one with Hamm has been covered to death on these boards, I wrote a lengthy list of why he has the gold and why he isn't really the one at fault.
The second one, well if you are doping then you should be banned for life from the olympics and it has to be revoked.
The third well is it fair to those who ran good races either if they have to rerace? How about if one of them fall this time? Maybe they should have the Irina lady run a single race by herself and compare the time to that of the other competitors? I did think it was horrible that she got knocked down by that Felicien girl. In the olympic spirit i was hoping she'd get up and jack felicien in the jaw. |

ok buddy...accidents happen. But i just love your moronic, typically American signature. First of all, it's not called soccer...it's called FOOTBALL. The only people who call it soccer are Americans and Canadians. It's the world's sport....but then again, you Americans like living in your own little shell, where the Superbowl, World Series and NBA Championships are all the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, even though nobody gives a ing rat's ass. |

| Paul Hamm is a jackass and should give back the gold medal-end of story. Even if the Korean's were late in filing a report or whatever. If it were me I would be thoroughly embarassed to "win" something I didn't deserve. A gold medal isnt worth much if everyone you meet knows you didn't deserve to win it. |

But the South Korean didn't deserve it. The judges also missed point deductions that they should have taken off his routine but didn't. Therefore even if the judges had used the correct start value, if they had properly scored the event than Hamm still would have won. Arguing that they should correct one judge up without correcting the other judge up is slightly hypocritical. Hamm does talk like a fag tho. |

you guys make it sound as if Felicien knocked her out deliberately.. which was obviously not the case. if you watch the replay closely, you can see she twists her ankle after hitting the hurdle. there was no way she could have avoided running into Shevchenko.
this is sports, these things happen.. very unfortunate for the Bulgarian, but there's nothing you can do about it. it would be very unfair to the other six athletes to re-run the race. you don't restart a NASCAR race because two drivers happened to take each other out, do you? same thing goes for the 100m hurdle final. |

I agree with you completely, its part of sports, not everything can be perfect, we are humans. What sucks about this is that shevchenko trained the last 4 years for this race and I feel for her,but this has happened to other people before and theyve gone on with their lives. |

We know she didn't, it just sucks when you wait 4 years, practice for a single event, go through 3 qualifying races fine and then in the final someone knocks you down albeit accidently and you don't even get to race but like I said before its not fair to have the other people re-race. I don't know about you but I'd be pissed. Nascar is a different comparison because they race every week, not once every 4 years. |
