So, after seeing The Last Samurai very late in the game, I came to the conclusion that all I really liked were the ninjas and the 15 mins of the movie dedicated to ass whooping because of them. If they had labelled the movie with NINJAS!!! all big on the front I might have bought the bastard.
Any other good ninja movies? Unf I dont have an xbox so I cant play Ninja Gaiden| |

zatoichi, azumi, seven samurai, yojimbo, shaolin temple.. (just checking my downloads folder) |

Hey Biz,
Most of my personal favourites are oldies (black & white) films... Most are actually samurai movies, but shintaro had ninjas in them
- Shintaro: The samurai
- The samurai trilogy (of Miyamoto Musashi)
- Yojimbo
- Sanjuro
Then I'd like to get these...
- Zatoichi: The blind samurai
- The lone wolf and cub
- Sword of doom
- Chushingura
Ok, there's too may to list and most of these are Japanese flicks, er, maybe 'The hunted' with Christopher Lambert ... I also liked 'Blind fury' with Rutger Hauer... There's also a bunch of Sho Kosugi films... Check amazon.com and search on Toshiro Mifune, Akira Kurosawa...
You also might want to check out Owl's Castle. Another ninja movie. You can find some of these at Queen Videos. |
