| Quivver aka John Graham will be in my neck of the woods this weekend. I was just wondering what kind of set I could expect from him. Thanks in advanced. :) |

| he wasn't too impressive when he played here in Oslo earlier this year. it was cool, but not that many standout tunes, and he didn't even play space manouvers 3 hehe |

I saw him at Rise in Boston just after the WMC this year, and I hate to say it, but it was a very weak set.
However, that may have been just because of how tired he had been having just come from a week of straight djing, but nevertheless, very low in energy.
He played a lot of progressive style breaks, and then kinda "spacey" house and progressive, but over the course of his 4 hour set, he never built anything up. It was all basically at this same 60% energy level.
In addition, for the last hour or so, he would sit down between mixes, which I've never seen another dj do.
Anyway, as I said before, this was probably due to him being exhausted from the the WMC, and so it's unfair to use this one set to judge him overall. |
