how do you pronounce "armin van buuren?"
what exactly are whitelabels and why do they exist? |
|

i think buuren is pronounced byuren (any dutchies feel free to correct me :p)
white labels are records made for promotional use before the full release of a track. mainly used to:
a) test the water for a full release
b) get the track played by dj's before the full release (and thus create some hype) |

are-min van be-you-r-en

whitelabels are basically promos. not on a label, hence white. :p |

Mmm... I love the old announcer voiced Armin used to start off his ASOT's.
"Straight... from the Netherlands... ARMIN... VAN... BUUREN..." **Insert shouting by lots and lots of fans** |

You can reference that one ASOT where armin is correcting the announcer's pronounciation of his last name. ASOT 95 maybe? Early 100s perhaps. |
