ah, my first song in Reason 2.5! I discovered much better synths etc. and so I used them in my track. Please feel free to add comments to this one. Thanks!

Maurice Anemaat - Revelation

New in Extended Version:
* Added more depth to the drums
* Made the piano and guitar-like stronger
* Deleted the empty space in the end
* Added 3 minutes of extra music, with a new melody
* Added several synths
* And much more.... :D

Wow, this is totally not what I expected. Really chilled and smooth, I'm loving it. The piano and the strings are so sweet...

A couple of technical things though:
The piano and the guitar (?) seem to be a bit lost in the background because the other instruments tend to hog all the space...
The percs are a bit simplistic, you might want to spice them up with something extra and some fills maybe.
The intro is a bit short, might be tough for the DJ to mix. The fadeout in the end is awkward and way too long as well... and .. eh... there's 45 secs of plain silence in the end??

All in all this is my current favourite of the tracks on here, pretty damn solid work esp. if it's your first Reason production.

Oh, My God. This is great..

Really chilled. Yeah you should bring the piano more up-front..

Pretty great for a first Reason production. I could listen this again and again. :D

this is proper nice

thanks to you all. The problem is that I'm currently listening to it on different speakers. On my 5.1 set it sounds with more than enough reverb, with the guitar and piano nice on the foreground. Downstairs it's all a bit hollow so I'm not knowing which one is right. The song wasn't really finished, but it's hard for me to think what could be better :D. I will change the critics when I got time :)

I guess I will fill that 45 empty spot up with some extra intro

I wouldn't really produce with a 5.1 setup since most people will listen to it on a plain stereo system anyway.

i have to agree with every1 this is a very nice production. has a nice chicane feel to it. everything just needs that extra little bit of polish to make it sound really pro, sorry i cant be more specific than that but thats all that is missing. will def be looking out for ur future productions :)

Agreed this is nice, especially for a first production in Reason 2.5.

It just needs a bit more of "oomph" to it really, the overall sound is just a bit flat. With more power and some slightly toned up sounds, this would be awesome.

Very nice one! Really enjoyed it.
Only thing to complain about is the rex-loop from the sound factory bank that you've used... I'd change it =) Although I also used many of the built in reason sounds when I started :]

anyways, great piece of music! :)

I used 3 REX loops in this one :D, although I'm gonna add one Redrum to make it more smooth and variating. It's gonna take me a couple of days, but I hope I got something then that's worth your expectations.

The suggested changes have been made.... Tell me what you think of this new version!
