search for IP spoofing. Although I think MAC ID cloning is better. |

can you possibly tell me what program to get..im guessing I2P..but what to do after i have it? |

depends on why you need a fake ID. if its to get multiple computers hooked through a router without having to pay you use the mac id cloning/ghosting. If you want someone to think you are someone else you use either a spoofer or a shell |

I've only used web proxies to get around the school's net-nanny stuff, and I've never had the need for progs, so I wouldn't know. |

its not to get multiple systems hooked to the router...i got that down already
its for something else..i need it so outside machines see a different address then the one my router is showing off |

meh, if I was at your house I could set it up, kind of hard to explain sometimes |

if its just an ip you need then find an anonymous proxy. use sockscap to use it.
then your good to go. |

the answer is a straightforward no.
the router has the exposed ip address as it is the one connected to the modem
the addresses you have inside your own lan can be different WITHIN the lan but not once it has gone past the router - any person on the internet will see any connection made from the 2 computers in your lan as the ip address of the router... why do you need different ip addresses anyway? |
