depends on the capabilities of ur graphics card and tv
some putars output in s-video, rca, some tvs only input s-video or rca, you can also get an adapter which splits vga into s-video and rca but i havent seen them in teh shops |

Any video card, Like the Geforce cards, All have TV outs, They are S-Video plugs, However, Many of the cards also come with those s-video to rca adapters in case your tv doesnt have s-video connections, But heres the thing, If your concidering on using your computer on your tv, When the video output of the card goes to the TV, It will display your desktop screen in 640x480 resultion and at 60hz due to the limitations of your TV's resolution rate, Using your tv just to use your computer may not be a good idea cause everything will look enormous on screen, your icons and such, The TV out on those cards, were ment for stuff like, If you wanted to watch a DVD using the software DVD Players with your DVD Rom Drive, Or if you wanted to play some of your PC games on your tv. |
