Soundcard: Zoltrix Nightingale PRO 6 (C-Media CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio Device)
OS: WinXP

My new microphone sound is too low - I cannot enable the microphone booster option because it can't be turned on in mixer properties. I got my WinXP drivers from http://www.zoltrix.com website.

The microphone is ok, I tested it on the other soundcard and it worked properly. So I guess this is problem with C-Media drivers.

Here are the links to screenshots of my settings:

playback settings: http://republika.pl/vmc/audio/audio1.jpg
recording settings: http://republika.pl/vmc/audio/audio2.jpg

As you see the "advanced options" menu ("Zaawansowane" is disabled by the drivers).

As you see the "Microphone Boost" option cannot be turned on !

Please help me because I cannot use my microphone...

Try not to use any C-Media software. If you can uninstall it all, and try and let windows update pick up the driver only. If you can't find it go to the soundcard manufacturers and get it there.

Also in one of those screenshots it looked like you had something muted. Un-mute everything for f=testing purposes.

Also, (and i don't mean to offend here) but make sure you've got the microphone port plugged in correctly. Ive had it too low before and it was in the wrong socket.
