How about depreciation thread?
Disney sucks big time, except for EPCOT.
You know why, because I work there! :whip: :whip: |

Ive been to quite a few in the US. Never Cedar Point tho it seems fun. Orlando places are reasonably lame, the free beer, better rides and animals at Busch Gardens Tampa make that park the best IMO. |
woot!! my theme park... i was a Rhino Rally driver at Busch Gardens
yeah he's right about teh free beer :D
id have to disguise myself after work to make it look like i didnt work there to get the free beer... they werent too fond of their employees drinking at work |

| I grew up with Six Flags Magic Mountain. I would ditch 4th period+lunch and go to magic for a ride or 2 before going back to high school. All my friends worked there. If you ever have a chance to go there it's dope. We have a whole LOAD of record breaking coasters. |

| Went to Alton Towers a couple of times when I lived in Staffordshire as a kid, but didn't think it was that great. Probably better than most of the Aussie theme-parks though. |

There's a great program on discovery channel about rollercoasters called: "extreme thrillrides", it rocks!
I'm watching it now:eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:
Some of the great rides that are mentioned: "Air", "Obvilon" and "X", magnificant! |

I live like an hour away from Cedar Point and I must say while it does have really awesome rollercoasters, as an overall themepark it sucks. It has horrible atmostphere, no shade anywhere, and is confusing as hell to navigate. I mean if you just like coasters and that's it, CP is your place, but that's really all it's got. I much prefer themeparks with more atmosphere and some non-coaster attractions.
Epcott Disneyworld is probbably my favorite overall themepark, just because it's a really cool looking place and there's tons to do with the 12 or howevermany sections emulating different countries. But then again once I ride a roller coaster once it's pretty much lost it's thrill to me.
Oh, and CP was sooo much better when they had the bereinstein bears instead of gay snoopy -_- |

I also prefer non-coaster attractions. And believe me, I see the best at the Efteling. Most "rides" there are beautifully made. Just look at these pics:
"Spookslot" (sort of haunted house)

"Fata Morgana"
(Inside)

(outside)

There are also a lot of fairytales to "visit" there. Just don't say "yuk" yet, 'cause when you see it you'll respect the fact that there's put such an ammount of work in it!

Anton Pieck's masterpiece, "Diorama". You feel like you're Gulliver!
It's not always supposed to "kick ass"! |

| rollercoasters scare me so i usually go to disneyland. i love pirates of the carrabian and the haunted mansion (especially around christmas!) And i used to like when universal studios did halloween themed stuff. it was so scary:nervous: |
