Ripped Bag
I remember having to sift through endless magazines to get codes. Having to actually go to each store or read newspaper articles if the store had certain items and to compare prices. To get real reports, and reviews on products you had to talk to people that owned them and that was ing gay. I remember having to listen to music on the radio or have "records" or "tapes" or the new "cd" which was mad expensive.

You know what..

That's exactly what I find attractive from the old days, going through magazines, going through endless piles at shops, actually doing effort to find things and getting good at em. Taking the example of records, anybody can find an MP3 rip of exclusive tracks and play it nowadays, it sucks.

And you think it's 'gay' to talk to people and finding out about stuff? In what way is that gay? Please release your keyboard and actually try it for a while, you might be positively surprised.

I have to admit that the Internet made things easier (record prelistening, finding information), but calling the old-fashioned ways of information gathering 'gay' is a bit too harsh, I'd say.
