I said Austin is a nice city. I meant it. I don't like hippies and I don't like being asked for money. The city has an abundance of that -- above the national average. Not my cup of tea.
I am glad you like it and that is awesome you're moving there - to each their own |

I have many friends that go to UT. Most all live on West Campus, that's basically party central. It's were all the frat's are as well as sororities. Definately live there and not the Riverside area. Besides it would be better for walking to class as opposed to taking a bus.
I go to school in San Marcos at Texas State and I absolutely love it. Your best bet between all schools is for the education (your major). All schools have better programs then others in certain types of majors, keep that in mind. Don't just narrow it down to UT cause' it's "cool."
Oh yeah, whoever said that College Station has more woman then Austin has no clue.:stongue: Austin I think was voted one of the prettiest cities, and I know for a fact a lot of Playboy Models come from this town. And if you think Austin is full of em', goto San Marcos for one day and you will dehydrate from all the saliva you will lost at the constant drueling when in the middle of the campus watching all the blonde tanned no clothes wearing ladies. Its Great.
Hope that helped, all the best.

well duh, austin has like 1 million people, CS has 120,000 do the math and you'll find out who has more women.
your odds of landing a hot chick are way higher at A&M |

| UT is the f'n sheezy man and I dunno what you A&Mers are all talking about the rivalry, our rivalry is with those blockheads from that dustbowl OU, thats who we hate, we don't dislike Aggies at all. I kinda feel sorry for Aggies, I think alot of them are bitter because they just barely missed out on getting admitted to UT, ya know those kids that if they only had 30 more points on their SAT or a few more points on their GPA they'd be at UT but they're not so they get bitter. Anyway nice places to live around UT are West Campus or North Campus i prefer North Campus since its not so frat/sorority oriented and theres a few other nice places basically if you can hop on the Lake Austin and the Enfield Road UT shuttles and check out the places around that shuttle route its alot closer than riverside but its more $$$. I really wouldn't reccomend living at Riverside at all, but don't get me wrong some people do love living out there. Well its getting late so i gotta go, and for the record OU still sucks. |
