ftp stopped working!

well.. it did and that sucks
i am behind a router, port (21) is forwared to my pc, used to work fine
i use bullitproof ftp serv. 2.something
now if i (or someone else) tries to log in they get
code:
Connected to *my external ip* -> IP= x.x.x.x PORT=21
220 Tornado-vxWorks (VxWorks5.4.2) FTP server ready
USER lalalolo
331 Password required
PASS (hidden)
530 Login failed.
Connection failed
i don't even use that program, its not installed, nor on my pc or on the other pc's on the network.
normally i'd just say. ehm.. whatever and use another portnr but that doesn't seems to work (connection refused) got it forwarded and all 100% sure i did it right.
any idea wtf is going on? |

| u cant connect yourself cause your already have port 21 open if your running your own FTP, also make sure the max logins is more than 1, check the i.p of the ftp server is 127.0.0.1. Need more info really. |

Ditto.
Also are you sure the people connecting have the username and password correct. I know its simple but worth checking. Also reset it at your end. |
