DJ Micro first hit the scene in the early 90’s as one of the founders of Caffeine — a Long Island nightclub event (and later the name of a clothing line) that along with Buzz, NASA and Fever was one of the original “rave-oriented” weeklies on the East Coast. Micro was part of a crew of New York DJ’s such as Frankie Bones, Adam X, Jimmy Crash, Dave Trance and Jason Jinx, who regularly traveled to DC almost every week to spin in those formative years of EDM culture. Micro at one time may have played hard-as-nails, nosebleed techno, but he was — and still is — a very approachable, down-to-earth guy. Never wrapping himself in self-importance, Micro’s success stems from playing the music he loves to the people who love his music.

Holmes Ives, the mind behind OKO TEK and MEMNON, has had a huge influence on dance music worldwide. He has produced EDM for some of the top underground dance labels in the world, including: John Digweed's Bedrock label, Deep Dish's Yooshi and Shinichi labels, Renaissance, Hope Recordings, Caffeine and MusicNow. He has remixed artists such as Bebel Gilberto, Moby and BT to name a few. He has released over 40 singles, and his tracks have been licensed by the world's top DJ's for over 20 mix compilations, including DeepDish's Global Underground Toronto. Tonight will be the release party for Ives’ new album: TETRASOMIAThis is Ives’ first live performance in DC, and you can expect a show like no other. Ives will be performing with vocalist Seroya, percussionist Rex Riddem, drummer John Henry, and keyboard player John Moncure. There will also be an acrobatic performance by Jivez, live mixed visuals by Warp Sights and Sounds, and a specially designed light show by L.E.N. to compliment the music.
