My friend calls us (the peope, in my immediate group of friends) hosers. I asked him what it meant once and he said it meant "friend" But i'd never heard of it anywhere else....till you posted this thread, of course :D

There is also the word getting "hosed". Meaning screwed over. As in "We are really getting hosed over witht these gas prices eh?" Not that I am canadian or anything but I have studied these people well. ;) lol
