It looks really bad. I was watching CNN last night and stuff is flying all over the place. Winds something like 110 mph :eek:
Well i hope everyone is okay. Having to be forced out of your homes and cities like that is pretty devastating. |

Yes. I'm currently in Tampa but I haven't secured a long-term job yet so further relocation is a definite possibility. |

Oh really? I've already volunteered to help with hurricane relief efforts for the next few evenings so I can't make it unfortunately. I've been rather busy since moving down here and haven't had a chance to check out the FL scene yet. |

| I just read off Weather.com that Hurrican Ivan is growing and will probably hit south Florida by Saturday. Lets just hope it will all come to an end soon. |

Dont listen to those blokes. 7/8 of the staff arent even meteorologists. Follow what the people at www.nhc.noaa.gov say. It is still too early to judge where and when Ivan will go. |

I’m back!!! :p
I was so prepared for Hurricane Charley and I was barely even hit. Then I half assed it with Hurricane Frances and I got nailed. Yes I got the necessities like food and water. I guess it was just my attitude that was different. I've been without power since it hit...Terry is still at the hotel that we spent last night at.
I'm amazed how much water that ****** dropped. It rained for three days. Rain and wind. The damn wind was crazy…just wouldn’t stop. WTF? A Hurricane should come…make its presence known for a few hours…and then leave. That stupid hurricane came and decided to hang around for a few days. :mad:
You learn a lot about yourself and your significant other when you are stuck together in a house with no power for two days. You either get along or you don’t. Terry never ceases to amaze me.
I hope that when I go home today that I have power. I have two pets that I'm worried about. :( |
