Mezzanine's design was based off of a new york underground club, actually. And oddly, everyone I know from New York who has been there really likes it. :-p
It's not littered with tons of lazers and lights and all (although Spundae is bring in at least lights and lazers, and I think maybe even a VJ, for this weekend) like Ten15, but it does have the best sound in the bay area. It's basically setup like a little warehouse, with a few mezzanine (sometimes VIP) areas on the sides and back...
Just remember this about the place, though: It's gets HOOOOTTT in there. Prepare to sweat like a mofo. Again, Spundae is bringing in Kryo which will help greatly, but it's still gonna be hot as . Just like the old days - great times. :)
