Actually, all accounts of people who I personally know who have seen Paris spin has said she's surprisingly good.
I once saw Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight's Tale, 40 days and 40 nights, etc) DJ at a private party (yet massive) held by Sony a couple years ago, and she herself was pretty damn good. I was impressed.
Just because she is "famous" or whatever doesn't mean she doesn't have any type of skills whatsoever. Stop being ing haters. It's annoying. I bet she can DJ better than 99% of you.
Anyhow, the album she is doing...I am sure it's like a pop-album or something like that.

best celebrity dj? I'm pretty sure perry farrel (of Jane's Addiction) could kick her bony ass as far as that is concerned.
She's riding her popularity hype and funding her cd through daddy's cash, not through gaining a following and securing a deal through hard work, persistence and dedication. She's gonna do to djing what Avril livign did to punk. KILL IT.
