Its really kinda wrong when you see guys in their 30s going out with chicks in their late teens/early 20s. I got a friend who is 20, getting amongst it with a 33 year old. They started when she was about 18!
One time at swimming training many years ago, me and my coach were down one end of the pool talking about something, and one of my training partners was down the 'start' end (we were doing short sprints) on the blocks, when she bent over to dive there was an old dude (like 70) sitting behind her checking out her arse. She was supremely tidy, but about 16. Me and the coach couldn't stop pissing ourselves - she didn't know what we were laughing at.
Thats just wrong.
A couple of years difference I can handle (say 5-7), but large differences is not good. |

yeah I shoulda thought it was something like that. sarcasm yaaaaaaaaay. Thanks for pointing that out so nicely tho.
Young girls shouldnt go boning ppl in their 30's I've seen alot of that happen here too. I imagine 95% of them end up regretting it later. |

I think it really is an issue of girls looking older than they really are nowadays. Girls are learning to dress up and put make up on even before guys their age begin to catch on the fact that girls even exist. I believe that this leads to relationships where the age gaps grow larger. It's just socially acceptable nowadays.
You yourself probably know that the age your girlfriend is at, she's probably at her prime in terms of physical appearance. Same as if older women looked at some handsome 23 yr. old suited male.
Perversion and paedophelia probably only start applying before the age of 15. This might sound crazy.. but if you think about it.. it's not so far fetched. Although mentally they have probably not matured, physically speaking.. it's almost the end of physical maturity for them.
Again on the topic of mental maturity, its really become a focus point of many relationships or conversations of. But, I think our baser instincts override our attempted civility. |

When I was 14 I found 14 year old girls attractive, but I don't anymore. |
very very true.
my friend, also my friends gf, is quite (verrry) hot. and when she walks down the street, literally everyone looks at her. once she was walking with my mates mum in the city and she was getting angry. she caught an old man, like around 40, checking her out. and she yelled at him, really yelled at him. i think that when people get around 18 and above, its not uncommon for people to have a gander, especially old peverted freaks. but theres really nothing that can be done. just wear appropriate clothing and carry mase or something incase they get attacked. |

My sisters and I have always received a lot of attention from men of all ages. We were taught that true beauty comes from within and part of being beautiful is the way you interact with other people.
When guys are looking and chatting us up (Billabong's words), we were raised to be respectful, courteous, and gracious. If a good looking girl or woman appreciates the compliment and does what she can to return the compliment in an appropriate manner, things don't tend to get out of hand. If you regard someone as an object (old man) than you're more likely to be regarded as an object (hot chick). But when you treat that old man as a person and even if it's a quick convo, show an interest in the person, he and others are more likely to regard you as a person and treat you accordingly.
And I do kind of agree with Moschino, Billabong. I think your girlfriend is complaining because she wants YOU to notice that other guys, older guys, think she's hot. ;)
I never considered any of the men perverted and am not disgusted by their attention. And geez, in 10 or 15 or 20 years, whenever it happens that the guys stop looking, I'll chuckle to myself and remember that once upon a time, back in the days.....

you think they'll stop? :disbelief
some older guys disgust me when they look at young girls. mostly because they don't do it with respect, they objectify the girls and discuss their features way to offensively.
personally, i think there's nothing wrong with staring at a pretty girl, as long as you don't act like a dick about it and really appreciate the beauty. if you start gossiping about it or start getting perverted, that's gonna be very weird. |
