Bush Opens DoubleDigit Lead

Yes, it's very nice to be ahead, and ahead BIG. But in all honesty, and as GWB likes to say himself, the only poll that matters is the one in November. There's plenty of opportunity for things to change between now and then.
The nice thing about polls though is that they really have the potential to throw the other candidate off guard, like last night. There weren't many people (other than the ones who organized it) who thought that Kerry's midnight rally was necessary, or even a good idea. (Hell, I thought he sounded drunk). If it had been planned well in advance, it would have made a better impression, but instead it was probably a knee-jerk reaction to Zogby's poll that came out earlier in the day that put Bush ahead. |

Bush is getting an indirect boost from the terrorist events in Russia, beheading of Nepalese workers in Iraq, and the threats from those in france if they dont un-ban headscarves in public schools. All these just complement bush's agenda on the war on terror.
Kerry hasnt been making any good stabs lately too. Gotta switch out of defensive mode there...But then again, stay in that mode so you lose...hahahah |

Is it because of the upcoming US election that all these events are starting to occur???
I'm sure that these hardcore nutz know fully well that their sudden increase in activity will only strengthen support for bush, and his "war on terror".
Maybe thats the whole point.
Perhaps they WANT bush to stay in power so they have a better chance of killing more Americans. I mean, who better than to have an enemy who's IQ is in the 80's. (I have no source on Bush's IQ, but i'm just giving you a GENEROUS ballpark figure:p ) |

Forgive me if I disavow that piece of trash poll but 926 supposed voters from who knows where in our nation just doesn't cut it as a sample size to prove anything. I'm sure he has a double digit lead, in his dreams, one poll is as good as the next one. I have to see other polls from other sources not just one to believe that. The Democrats may have been sleeping recently but not that bad.
I think I will go run a poll of 200 in NY, 200 in Mass, 200 in NJ, 200 in Pennsyl. and another 126 in Connecticut and let's see what it would say, you get the point, where was this poll conducted. P.S. not to mention a +/- of 4 percent that is pretty high for such a tiny sample. |

Are you seriously suggesting that someone as slow-witted and ignorant as George Bush has a chance of coming off looking better than someone like Kerry? (FYI, I wouldn't vote for either of them -- but I still think that PR wise, the debate is Kerry's to lose)

And in what way is this 'good news'?
That being said, I wouldn't rely on polls too much -- irrespective of which candidate is in the lead. Unexpectede things can and will happen over the course of the campaign, put simply -- polls change. |

| Exactly... all poll agency's are still working on getting some results on this matter.. and there hasn't been any sign of double digits just yet.. so this poll is very UNreliable.. ofcourse, it might be what the republicans might love to see, but to really see a more realistic poll, I guess we all gotta wait and see. |

LOL....lets poll 45million.
Better yet...lets poll 1million in new york.
Results might make you happy.
You know what i find funny. When Kerry is leading all you liberal jihads run and start copying and pasting polls from everywhere to shove that idea down the throats of the forum surfers. Whether it was the Gallop poll or the AOL.com POLL LOLLLLL!......how about you learn to live with the fact that Kerry still hasnt presented himself to the public and people still dont know him. On top of that, Clinton a former president has now overshadowed him in the media due to his medical issues.
Sad indeed.:nervous: |
