Hey all ........

As i know that Lloret is quite a popular resort among dutch people , i was wondering whether anyone here has been to this resort and if so : How is the place ? , is it worthwhile going there next summer ? what kind of music is played down there ? is it a big clubbing resort ? what other nationalities come there except dutch ppl and do many youngsters flock down there ? etc .... any information could be usefull .... :)

Thanks in Advance

For just clubbing it's definetely the best place from the spanish mainland (better than Salou, Callela, Blanes, Margrat, Benidorm, etc)

There are many different clubs.. like more trance orientated, hardstyle/hardcore or even R&B-only  And each year a couple famous (most Dutch/italian) dj's are spinning there. But it's also very busy/crowded in Llorret and the beach is very poor!

I've been there 5 years back, dunno if it's changed much. Off course lot's of dutch youngsters there, and there were also many Italian people.

I've been there for about 3 hours a few weeks ago... Just because I HAD to see the place. I laughed my ass off :toothless

We arrived at about 22:30 I think... While I drove into town I was blinded by neon lights, so I had to pay some extra attention... Otherwise I would probably have hit one of those drunk 14 year olds crossing the street everywhere...

I didn't feel like going into some hardstyle club, so we decided to have a drink on a terrace near the beach, and simply look at the ppl walking around... We saw Dutch gabbers, English hooligans, Belgian clowns, and some other undefinable morons... But the funniest ppl around were the local cassanova's, hitting on everything with long blonde hair...

I've been told every now and then the spanish police force comes out to join some fight, kick some butt, and then wait for the next fight (usually caused by English soccer fans) which shouldn't take longer than an hour or two... I've also been told that some clubs are actually quite nice :)

It was fun to have a look around, nice way to end a day-trip Barcelona, but I would NEVER spend a vacation in the place...

But on the other hand, if you're into this kinda stuff, I guess it's paradise... ;)
