Hey, do you know of the Infusion remix that was done in 2003? Well, that gave me the idea to do a remix myself too:D I think it's one of the more 'descent' tracks I've done, just click one of the links below:

Click: Kate Bush vs. weBsley - Running Up That Hill to listen to it!

This is just totally not my style, Lol:clown:
Just give me your opinion on it, thanks in advance;)

Its cool, have you got a better quality copy so I can road-test this in one of my sets?

That reverbed synth is there just too much, I'd combine it with more fx. Bass starts cool but it sounds kinda preset-ish. When it plays some chords it's a bit better. I surely like the idea of the vocal too bad the original is there too much, the vocal should punch more as well. Allways use a capellas man. Nice ideas in this one.

I've been workin' on this track the past few days, and I'd find it quite finished. I added some delays on the vocals and put a little more variation to the bassline.

Enjoy!:D

i love kate bush´s version, i love infusion´s remix, i love placebo´s cover and within temptation´s cover...so i´ll have a listen to your version aswell... ;)

i like that rising kick in the beginning..nice break after it...
bass could need some tweaking...could be softer imo...
vocals are used in a very nice way...
midpart is cool...i like this synth...kinda unordinary...sounds strange and unique...

conclusion: your remix is worth to be loved aswell... ;)

Hmm... this was something different ;)

I like the laid back style kinda. and the beat is whooooosh! ^^
It's very repetive tho, could use something else imo.
the vocals... neat!

Good job! I like it in a strange way :toothless

like what you did with the vocals. the symbol clash is too simple. needs another layer on the low end, a repeating bass wave. needs more variation on the phrasing marks to keep it interesting. could use more build up, stretched out buildup. 2:38, missing a beat or two to complete that nice little spot in the track.

i like this though, it has a lot of potential. i love the infusion remix, i got a friend to drop it and it sounds so phat in a club.

the 3:20ish, the sound there, expand that, play with it, try having some more fun with the bassline and bass/kick progression during the breakdown. stick some of that sound at the beginning or maybe at the 1 min mark for like a bar, to tease the listener that the track is going to change up later on for a bit.

give this some more work for sure!

Thanks to you all people, I will concentrate some more on the points that were mentioned!

I listened to all the versions and it inspired me to do a version of my own. My approach wasn't so dark/gothical as most of those other attempts, though. I actually love the Within Temptation version!

I was thinking that part lacked a thing, I just wasn't sure what it was. I think you cleared it up! :D

Thanks;) I was looking for a more disco-like beat, but I finally added some more electro-style percussion.

Oh, btw: That midpart carries a REAL guitar. Sounds a lot like a synth with the delays, though.
