There were no "Hamptons Snobs" , Guidos, Juiceheads, or Jerk Off Bean Bags there (Maybe 1 or 2) but on the whole the small amount of people there were "Heads" people that are completley into the music!
For who ever said they had to pay 15 dollars to park got screwed. There was plenty of free parking in the back of the club! I feel bad that that happened to you.
I personally worked on the Deep Dish party the night before @ Brazil in hampton bays (Right Around The Corner From CPI) and that was a HUGE Success and the crowd was great! No idiots to speak of.. The CPI Party was similar with great music but less people. |

dont get me wrong, i met a bunch of cool people.... but yes, on the whole we felt that those people were very snobbish, and that wasn't just from observing, that's how people really treated us. you could tell who the true fans were, and once pvd went on the crowd got better. but seriously... in the beginning, we met a lot of s.
and i heard about the free parking in the back after we got inside. we saw the parking lot back there but assumed we would have had to pay there too. we actually left figuring we'd park somewhere else and walk but there was nothing close enough. |

i just woke up :) that ride home was a bitch.
Our night started out at the Hampton Bays Diner, where we had our first taste of the snobs in that town. The second we sat down, the 3 scumbags at the booth next to us started harassing me and sky and trying to sit with us. The waitress flat out ignored us for 15 minutes, then it took her 10 minutes to bring our drinks. We didnt stay there long, but thank God we missed the fight. When we scoped out the place where pvd was spinning, it looked really small, and not really like a club at all. We had to pay $15 to park there on top of the $50 ticket, and there was no other option of where to park. The dress code said i couldnt wear my tank top, but maybe they meant something else cuz they let me in with it. I saw DirtyDave in line and then ran into partyhopper and colibri. When we got inside, i saw that the place was huge and REALLY nice. Me and sky went into the bathroom and i asked the attendant if this was also a hotel? cuz it was called c.p.INN and i thought the bitch was going to knock me out for asking such a ridiculous question because she YELLED at me that i'm stupid for not knowing that's just the name of this "renowned" club. whatever. Then we tried to sit on a huge couch where 5 people were sitting and there was room for about 10 more and the people on the couch screamed at us to get off THEIR couch. we didnt see any v.i.p or reserved signs but they were such S. hamptons crowd didnt make a good first impression.
But the place never really got that packed and we had PLENTY of room to dance right up front which was awesome and they had huge fans blowing down on the crowd. I spent the night dancing with Dave and Dom, partyhopper and colibri, and a few other cool people that we met. 2 really nice guys invited us back to their hotels/houses to crash but we ended up driving straight home. I met a bunch of other random TA's throughout the night but it was so loud in there i couldnt catch all of your names. I had a blast thought.... you guys were so much fun.
PVD's set was not the best i've heard, but it was still awesome. He didnt play as hard of a set as the last few times i heard him, it was really mixed... a lot of melodic tracks, a few old tracks, some new stuff, and techno! i could have done without hearing Crush but at least it was the Vandit club mix, and he played Nothing But You - some breaks mix i havent heard. He also played Amiel - Lovesong which i was hoping to hear.
I'm glad we went. I talked to brian at about 6 this morning and Labour of Love was still jamming strong... but i still think that for my OWN taste, i made the better choice of parties. I cant wait to party with you guys again! |
You have no idea what you missed. SANDER IN K ROCKED DA HOOOUSSSE!!!   |

| i dont care wat anybody says, i had an amazing time as usual. PvD nights are always the best!!!! u wanna kno why there was no gweedos there...?? its because they were all at tavern for jonathan peters (bunch of fags) but u gotta admit that the bouncers were gweedos and they were s. and who da was that stupid asian chick that was up front all ed up and being spiritual and ??? everybody was makin fun of her.i kinda felt bad for pvd cause there was hardly anyone there. the club itself was ugly but there was alot of room to dance. not where i was cause i was all da way up front like usual. i saw glittergirl there but didnt get to say hi to u... sorry. anyway pvd rocked it like usual, his set was the same as last month @ Amnesia but i love PvD so i always have an amaszin time. he played til 4.45 or somethin with only one encore which was awesome, ID any1? he wanted to keep goin but they shut him down which was stupid. i mean come on we pay 50 somethin dollars for a ticket and they pull that on us :whip: :whip: but w/e it was still awesome. PvD is one of the nicest DJ's i kno, he's so nice to his fans and always takes time to sign stuff (like my poster and my flyer:D ) anyway hopefully he wont play there again and play at the roxy or somewhere good..... til next time |
