They didn't have the funds if I recall correctly. I think they promised to bring it back next year though, but I could be wrong. |

the official parade was cancelled, but another organisation came together and held the "Fight The Power" demonstration in its place (to show support for the Love Parade). PVD & Nu-Nrg hit the decks and approx. 5000 people (some report 8000) turned up to rock the streets of Berlin (it wasn't held in the tiergarden where the previous parades were held).
it was simply amazing. some people that i spoke to who had been to previous parades said that this one was even better than before because it wasn't so commercial.
